does anyone know if the supercharger (G3) for the a4 3.0 has come out yet?


to anyone using the G2...any problems with engine longevity?

The G3 has come out. PES Tuning is doing a group buy-in at a discounted price if anyone is interested. Contact them for details.

what other components would need to be upgraded from a stock 02 a4 3.0 to handle the supercharger? its got sprt package.

....well, that depends on how you drive your car with the added boost ;). My ex-STI was holding pretty good on the stock clutch. Before the trade in it had ~30k miles.

I talked to the PES guys and so far their kit hasnt been released yet....its in final testing now. Winslow said it should be ready by march :D.

how much boost is everyone running on the 30v engine with the supercharger kit? whats the most boost the MAF could hold?

first of all, maf is not supercharged.
second around 8 psi.

M62 cannot provide more unless overdriven.
PES makes a nice instalation, but for that you pay a price, all that work!!!

sorry i know the maf is not supercharged... the engine is, but i meant since the airflow flows thru the maf from the charger.... wait... im wrong,... lol... its a root type!!! ahh i see, the MAF plays no role, like in regular superchargers...my mistake!



yea so, the engine could hold only 8 psi. okay, thank you.

no it could hold more, with proper cooling. I would think like 10psi. the pes does not have cooling so it can only go like 8 psi.

water cooling and intercooler probably tgether can boost to 12 psi.
MAF I would think should be changed for higher copacity.

Does anyone know what kind of injectors the PES system uses for the 2.8 and 3.0 engines? Possibly 42 lb Green tops?

I hear your pain, I want to know what is the flow of stock injectors, but I think its a clasified information. :(

im gettin my pes g2 installed in about 2 weeks, im pretty stoked...ill have a big write up about it, with pics, videos, etc... just be patient fellow audi owners and ill give you a first hand opinion.
