Default Oil change
i just had an oil change done at jiffy lube, and they put in 7 quarts of mobil1 synthetic, is this too much for this car? i think it only calls for 6 3/10 including filter.

2nd that. I don't know how much Jiffy Lube charges, but the savings aren't worth having monkeys wrench on your car. Find a good medium between Jiffy Lube/Walmart and the stealership---like a good indy shop.

LOL--Nice post MM. I wonder how many mechanics at higher end places, like, say Audi Stealerships, do the same **** for a LOT more money...

do you have the 6 or the 8 cyl? i have the latter and it takes just under nine litres.

Glad there is no Jiffy Lube in Canada [:'(]
BTW your car supposed to drink 6.5 L of oil.
