Default Audi R-Zero Concept - electricity-propelled 1081 hp supersport

Hello friends,

I have found some informations about new Audi R-Zero Concept with electric engine with 1091 hp output ( what is more than 1001hp Bugatti Veyron with 16 cylinder engine). After the title "Car of the year 2005", which was won by Toyota Prius with hybrid-engine ( electric + gasoline engines ) - do you think, that the time of electricity-engines is comming?

Info about the Audi R-Zero Concept read here:

I like tho "concept of gas-hybrid, or, even a pure electric sports car (assuming a decent time/distance between charges is engineered in - having a car of ANY type, with, say, a 200mile range is we-TAR-did), but the design of THAT thing scares ME, for some as of now, undefinable reason...
