I just bought a K&N air filter..and I was wondering if any of you guys had one installed on your cars. I was curious to know if you can feel any difference from stock. And if it's hard to install yourself..or should I have a professional do it?

 

easy to change.passanger side behaind head light .just pop the 4 clips and lift the top of the air cleaner box up and slide it out.5 mins. tops to change.

easy to do buddy, i dont have one on my a4 but i had one on the vw i had before i got my a4, i liked it and noticed a little bit of improvement

 

Little extra pull, little extra growl when you get on the gas.
$40 well spent in my opinion.

 

happy with mine. I decided not to hack up my airbox because I read about lag problems with that mod. Maybe because the car was sucking in too much air and if they had a stock exhaust it could not put it out fast enough. Not sure but, def feel a difference in throttle response and it feels like it has a little more bottom end. Could also be that i replaced a dv also.

 

You own an S4, and you don't know how to change an air filter???
