Default Audi A4 Cabriolet 2003 fuel filler stuck?

Hi, New to the forum. I have an Audi A4 2003 Cabriolet. This happened to me 2 times. I go to fuel my Audi, put the fuel nozzel in the car and it gets stuck. You cannot remove it. It seems to get caught and you cannot remove the gas nozzle when finishished fueling. I never in all my years see something like this get stuck. You need a lot of force to remove it from the car and it was put in very easily. Anybody have this problem? Ideas. Its out of warrranty now and will cost a lot to fix. Each time it causes the check engine light to come on. I guess removing with so much force messes with a sensor. Thanks SP

Nobody else has had this issue of the gas station fuel pump getting stuck while filling the car?

I've had a similar problem....
I have also had an issue where the pump will stop as if the tank is full even though there is no gas in the car.

try not to put nozzle in too far, i found on a6 that u need to rotate nozzle a bit to stop pump tripping out
