hey Just wanted to Introduce myself I live in CA and this will be my first Audi ..im planning on buying an A4 or S4 very soon...i just need some help deciding.. Does anyone have a preference ..or any info that may help me decide..im leaning more towards the S4 but i appriciate anyones help..

New models or previous model years?

There are advantages and disadvantages to both, depending on what year you're looking at.
Also, it depends on what you want out of the car.
Modifying?
Daily Driver?
Blow the doors off of the other cars on the road?
Luxury?
etc....

Im looking at 03 to 05 models...This would be my primary car, but i also would be using it to go on alot of long drives and runs...I would like to do some small mods to..tint, suspension, exausht...etc..possibly a turbo..if it does not come with it when i get it...
and i appricate any kind of opinons or suggestions..thanks

 

If you can get your hands on a USP do it!!!!

 

If you want good looks, out the box fast, and reliability, then get the B6 S4. Its a V8 and does not have a turbo nor do you need to add one. Try and find one under 50K miles so your still under warranty.

The 1.8T USP or non USP would be optimal for an enthusiest that loves to mod a slow a$$ car and make it fast. The 1.8T is one of the slowest cars ever built if you leave it stock. I can run circles around a stock 1.8T all day it aint even funny how slow that car is.

The 3.0 does good if you dont care for the go fast and smoke anything you see attitude. Its reliable and looks good IMO with the chrome trim and other features you wont find in a 1.8T. Power folding mirrors is one of em. If you go V6, do not get that 2.8 12V POS. Its one of the slowest engines Audi ever made.

FYI... find one with painted lowers. You dont want to have to worry about getting them painted later.
