Viper alarm installed and now MIL on... can't start

Default Viper alarm installed and now MIL on... can't start
Hi guys.. I have a 2003 A4. I recently had a Viper 791 installed and now the MIL indicator comes on and shortly after the car dies and will not start until i reset the battery. If the MIL light isn't on the car will run fine, but if the MIL does come on it will not let me start the car.. any suggestions??

do you live outside of the states? immobilizer? You really need a VAG-Com to see what the MIL is for certain.

Take it to the person who sold and installed the alarm and bitch at them untill they fix it.

Ive heard of people having trouble with some alarms... take it back to where you had it instaled..
