Well, I got a chance to run one of these little guys. We both caught a stoplight and I could see that the mini was as interested in running as I was. Well, the light turned green and I didn't want to drop the clutch, so I just kinda rolled into it, knowing he shouldnt be too much trouble. So he gets about a car and a half on me when he launches the hell out of his car..lol.. and by the top of first, that is about half a car, and by the top of second, I have him by about two cars. He wanted to keep going but I let off once I hit third bc speed limit was only 45....and I dont need anymore tickets.lol. But the guy was really cool, bc I pulled up to work and he followed me and I talked to him for a couple of minutes. He apparently has basic bolt-ons and an upgraded pulley and no cat. I don't know what kind of power those make but it sounded really good, if only they were a little faster...:D.

I have a 02 Mini Cooper S with the John Cooper Works package on it.. it is rated at 207HP and I must tell you that it is faster then my 01 Audi S4... Both are 6 speeds and I know I can get off the line faster with the S4, but my Mini weighs 2400LBS and would take it from a roll.. my S4 is all stock though, and an APR chip is coming this week....

yea those mini's are nice and light so I don't doubt that they move out pretty good. I think when you get your chip you might see things differently.. let me know.

yea, I could take a stock s4 if i was in the wrong gear. But a chipped one, I can only pull about a car in each gear.

i drive my moms mini cooper s everyonce in a while when my cars in the shop...
Belive it or not that think goes 49 in first gear, maybe even 50 right as it hits the limiter

too bad these our a4's down have a gear ratio like that...
