ok guys so i finally got my intercooler from my friend that i bought the car from. he said to make it work i will need to get new end tanks welded on with outlets going to the sides instead of facing up. how much do you think it will cost to get the end tanks swapped out and rewelded on?

I suggst U get it polished while Ur at it, Starion intercoolers look so much better polished. But as far as the end tanks go, I would see if you can find a friend that can tig weild, cuz its not cheap.

 

that alot of work i say just buy a FMIC thats made for ur car

endtanks i have seen for around $30 a side and then to have someone weld it average i've been quoted $60 an hour and then to clean that thing up, It would be a little more but less agravation to just buy a new core. I have been wanting to redo mine, i have all the new piping but im waiting to find the right core. Precision and spearco make really good intercoolers but top $$$
