I live in Saint John N.B and the only place i know that fixes audis has a scantron but no vag-com, they can only bring up some codes (i think). The dealership is about 2 hrs away. Do i have any alternatives ?

Thanks guys. And no we dont have autozone, I used the locater and found someone about 3hrs or maybe a bit further from me. It may cost me less to go to the dealer then pay for the extra gas to Nova Scotia, I will check it out anyways. Whats the difference in codes that a regular scanning tool has VS. a vag-com?

umm thats one way. doubt they do it if you ask them like that tho. just go up to one and say you need them to scan the car. they go out scan it, you write down the code(s), bring it back here, and we help ya out.

 

I bid $30 US for one of these. It works on 1996 to 2004 Audis.
