Well, just thought I'd get this out in the open to make it official...

I've been having some problems w/ the car for a while now, ever since I took
it in to get the timing belt etc. replaced. bank 2 misfires that cant be solved by indy mechanics,
or even several trips to the Dealership...

all in all as i look back on the last few months,
I couldve had some reallllly nice mods (or spent it on my family)
for the amount of $$ I dumped into the car (er I mean dumped into the techs)..
at least i got to know my car by trying to save some $$ here & there by
doing some of the minor things myself...

well, Its the moment of truth. Ive put about as much as i can put into the car,
and Ive come to a decision. THere is one last place that the locals here in So-Cal have recomended...
So far from the rediculous service Ive received from both dealer & Indy's, Im not going in w/ high hopes.. but
he's supposedly the best.

I'll hopefully know by Wed / Thurs. what the damage will be.
I'll be making a decision shortly thereafter wether its worth it to keep the car,
or if have to sell her... [&o]

Very sorry to hear...I can sympathyze greatly (my wife occasionally accuses me of spending the kids college funds on this car!) and I have persistent and intermitent power (missing big time between 4-5K) issues that just drive me nuts - and don't even show any codes or such. I wish you luck and hope you won't (have to) sell. I would ask around on all of the forums - particularly Audiworld - they have lots of real tech heads over there who really know these cars....

I agree with kelly. hahaha even though I have neither of those. ie kids and wife. I still say keep the car. Good luck hope you get it fixed.

 

omghi2ukelly.. lol. I need to find more girls that think like that... most tend to not fully agree with my auto obsession.
