has anyone tried installing Maxspeed's SSQ BoV onto their TT's?

 

Don't do it. With the DV happening downstream of the MAF you end up dumping metered air, if you vent to atmosphere your ECU will keep adjusting the fuel mapping to a richer and richer condition.

You can use a Hybrid valve like the one from GoFastBits if you want a little whoosh sound, other than that you need to stick with a diverter valve.

 

BOV's are like spinner wheels. Honestly, my Hyperboost HX makes a wicked sound with just a K&N drop in - and it serves a purpose too!

 

Yea my Forge sounds nice with the VTDA and the muscle head guys dont know whats under the hood!

i know that most of you guys look down on that noise but i really want to hear it. i have the 225. what DV makes the most noise.

 

If you are just in it for the noise, get one of these.

 

Ok. Please do not put that thing on your car. It's a disgrace to the Audi name. I love the description of the product. It makes a loud Pshhhhhh sound. God damn, if I hear one more thing about BOV's, I'm going to go frickin' crazy. Just buy a Honda.
