just a question about headlights. I have a 98 A4 1.8t QTR and am looking for a brighter set of headlights. They currently have the 12v H7-55w halogen bulbs. </P>


What wattage can i safely go up to without frying the wiring and circuitry? Also, would i needto change the hi-beam bulb too?</P>


Anyone with any suggestionsfor a bulb with a blue tinge to it? Lookingfor that bright white-blue look. Thanx.</P>

Buy a set of projector headlights. A common upgrade is to buy the Euro projectors for around $300. There is some slight modifications to make but they work very well - and look sweet. They work much better than the stock halogens of your model year. The stock headlights are not really that good and its hard to make them brighter or better.</P>
