well, bad news. i think i lost my clutch tonight. spun my tires on a wet road. dont get it though, definetly was not enough to burn up a clutch. my mr2 had been through MUCH worse stuff than that on purpose, even taught my girlfriend how to drive a stick in that car and i've never had a problem with the clutch. now i loose traction in my audi and my clutch is fried? wth?

well after letting the car sit over night i drove home just fine, but i dont think i'm hitting boost

you might have gone into limp mode if you reved too high. if you know anyone with a vag com, have them reset it. might be ok.

i dont know anyone with a vag com, havent even met any other audi owners yet. :(
i plan on taking it somewhere next week on my days off so i'll have them reset it. i have to find out why my CEL has been on anyway.

Anyway Mister2, there is a Shop on Bramble called EuroAuto that has a vag-com and they know Audi's really well (One mechanic has a wicked S4 avant). Also out on route 50 by Anderson is a shop DP Imports, that specializes in Audi's and Volvo's and they have a Vag-com also. where in the area do you live?

Um I actually have no idea, I went to EuroAuto to get some engine work done, and a CEL checked. DP Imports did my brakes.

Theres a place on Blue Ash road in Deer Park that I thought I might check out, they only deal in euro cars.

Hell yeah, I'm down for a G2G. There are 2 IHOP's I know of in my area. One is in Kenwood infront of the mall and the other is at the Ridge exit off 71 N infront of Target and Meijer.

I leave sunday for three weeks in New Mexico, so I couldn't make it.

Also Myaudi I'm not sure if my PM sent but EuroAuto has no website I know of. They are located at Bramble and whetsel(SP) It is in the hydfepark area. They have a lot of old euro's in the lot at all times, which between that and the black S4 avant is what made me stop and say hello. That and the fact that the shop I was going to used closed(apparently the neighbors didn't like the sound of Porsche's being preped for race day at the early hours of the morning.)

Name the date and place? How about Thursday night at Quaker Steak and Lube in Milford? Few audis and a crapload of VW's go there. The Swov.org meet goes there and im sure they wouldnt mind the audi's showing up from AF. I go there every once in a while!

I live in East Walnut Hills which to most people means Hyde Park, and that is where you will mostly find me, around that area or Anderson, but I'm heading off to OSU Sunday and won't be around that much. Oh yeah and the Car is Europa Mica Blue.

513, place to be! I have been an Audi enthusiast ever since I was a in high school. I have had three audis in the last 3 years. An a3, and a4 3.2. sline and now an RS 6. What more can I say I love the company and will continue to drive the cars for years to come. I look for other drivers around the nati, but most dont seem to care that they're driving a quattro. Hope to see other Audi drivers on the road and I will try to post pics soon.

Hey, I found a great parking lot to play in the snow in, it never gets plowed and it's HUGE!. The Brass Armadillo antique mall in the tri-county area is closed and has a very large parking lot thats not right on the road. Check it out, its on Cresentville road just northeast of the intersection of Cresentville and Rt. 747. If you see tire marks, those are probably mine!!! Happy spinning, and may you always keep a low profile! :eek:

Im out there looking for people, but if you see a rs6 grey anywhere near the greater cincinnati area, its probally me. Hopefully by this summer the rs6 will have an apr exhaust, and a revo. One day all of us audi owners should just go up and pack edgewater for an import day(show them what true oversea cars look like). I want to see how fast this boy is after I put a couple of mods on it.

Wow an RS6, I haven't seen one around here yet. I have only seen one RS4 and that was in Columbus.

My friend in Chicago has an RS6 that we got up around 160 mph in one night, that was fun. Those big cars can MOVE. I think my next Audi might be an RS4 in a few years, but I'd like to take a look at some RS6's once they get down in the $20k-30k range. They are getting close...

How long have you had yours? My friend got his brand new, but he's got money like that. I'm jealous of his car collection. Someday if I play my cards right I hope to have a bunch of nice cars!

Yeah im down to meet in the spring and yes im over 21, We need to find a track like mid ohio, I know ive seen some on the internet in Ohio. I would go to a quarter mile strip like edgewater, but I would rather go to a true track. But yes I am willing to meet up in the spring.

I'd be done for a meet sometime when I'm in cincy, but alas, I'm not 21 yet.

When I was getting on the highway yesterday i looked over my left side to merge, and what do you know a 07 rs4. (This is what an rs6 owner dreams of!) Now you would think he would want to show me what his car had on the rs6, but it was the total oppisite. This mother fucker wouldnt even look over. I tried to slow down to, but this guy wouldnt even take it over 55 mph. Moral of the story....dont buy a high performance car if your going to be a deush bag about driving it.

Anyway the first nice day all us audi folks need to hit up edgewater, Ive been dying to see what my car will do in the 1/4 mile. The new times are not listed on their website, but if anyone sees them post them up on here.

im from cincinnati and i had a maroon 98 2.8 a4. i just traded it in for a blue 04 1.8t. im hoping it was a good move. the 98 had 120k miles on it and i still needed to do the timing be;t/water pump. i ended up getting 3k for my trade and paid about 16.5 for the 04. im in clifton all the time, and i have a friend on riddle rd right across the market so you may have seen my 98 (i saw some posts of someone living nearby).

And if it was you, do you know any of the other Audi drivers there? Ther is a debaged green b5 A4 avant thats got some work done to it, and a sick imola yellow b5 S4.

In other news, i'm getting an exhaust installed at Dubwerx on Thursday, i'll let ya all know how it goes. 2.5" Stainless, cat-back scorpion system with 2 mufflers and sweet ass DTM tips. I'm excited cause I have that fabled flex section leak...

As far as GTG's, im free anytime. I'm a free man now, turns out my girlfriend of 3.5 years was a frigid backstabbing bitch, so hit me up.

Hey Bikerbob I go to OCAS. I know the cars your talking about. The S4 is sick. I dont drive to OCAS cause I take the shuttle. How much is the exhaust set up gunna cost.

dude, if you know those guys, tell them to get on here so they can get in on all the fun! That exhaust is gonna be a steal, because it was used for about 2 months, and then the guy who had it went to 3" stainless because he went BT and wanted louder exhaust. The bottom of the mufflers are slightly scuffed, but only thing i care about looking good is the tips, and they are slightly bronzed from being used, looks cool. The entire setup, inclulding splicing in a new flex section, taxes, and installation will cost $564 which is about $250 less than any other exhaust setup before shipping and installation. The offer was a no-brainer, and it seems like these guys know whats going on.

Yeah I just had a CV boot replaced by them a couple weeks ago. There good and they have real good prices. What do you go to school for. What year are you.

yeah, from what it seems, their prices are excellent, Ryan has been a great help. He told me that they would install a new DV for $30 flat rate, while another shop told me $80 per hour at about 2 hours. I call bullshit on that one... I am an Engineer, I graduated from cincinnati state with an Associates in Mechanical engineering technology/design, and I just started at OCAS to continue and get my Bachelors degree, unless I switch to Industrial Design. I'm taking night classes right now on monday and wednesday and working full time with a mechanical design firm during the day. Technically, im a Junior, but i've been at this college thing since fall of 2003[:@] oh well, slow and steady wins the race, right? What are you doing at UC, and are you a B5?

In other news, how is friday, May 9th at the Haufbrau haus sound for a gtg? Or what about doing it on a saturday, but going to a park first for a group photo shoot?

I work for United Group Services, or more specifically United design (the mechanical design division) We do mostly piping for big industrial facilities, such as AKsteel and Ashland... I'm gonna PM everyone about the GTG sometime soon

so... I got my car back on friday from Dubwerx, and I'm pretty much gonna take all my problems to these guys, excellent service and HONEST. They hung my exhaust without problems, but had decided between all of them that there was something strange about the way my car drives, it wants to oversteer according to them. It's been a long time since I've had the car at the limit, so this was news to me. They said to have my alignment rechecked, and he told me that the rear was probably out of spec. I got home and checked, and both sides on the rear were more than 1 degree out! Tire discounters has no clue whats going on aparantly... Also, they replaced my left upper control arm for about a quarter of what the dealer would have charged... they checked the entire car and found no other problems.

so, in other news... I love my exhaust! holy sh!t, it sounds amazing, and I saw a huge performance gain, I'm gonna guess at least 10hp. It sounds nearly stock until you step on it and it makes this amazing growl, and completely screams at the high registers. It sounds completly opposite of a magnaflow, it sounds just like a remus. Very porsche-like, i love it. The DTM tips are great too, it took the weekend to get used to it, but I love them, and they draw tons of positive attention! I try to get some pics or video soon...

Just wanted to introduce myself over here. I recognize some of the names here from Audizine. Got my 08 A4 in Quartz gray with the titanium package back in january. I've got 20% tint all around on it. If you see me say whats up as there are so damn many audis in cincinnati and its impossible to tell the enthusiasts!

For now I have a bone stock 96 A4 that is Europa Mica Blue (dark blue that looks purple sometimes but is very pretty) I'm mostly in the Hydepark, rookwood, Anderson, Clifton, and sometimes the west side of town but mostly you will find me on the east side.

I do have tints though and maybe by the end of the summer I will have my car lower to the ground. (I need to check my finances around that time and make a decision, college is really putting a damper on my modding bug, but I have so many things here I want to spend money one instead)

You wont see mine for another 3 weeks... waiting on coilovers... my air suspension is shot.

Are there any age restrictions on Hofbrauhaus? Me not being 21 and knowing that it becomes a bar at night might pose some small issues

when we get there early like 5 they dont card. i have gotten there at like 7 and they dont card. we will start meeting like 5-6 on fridays to show some cars

If we meet at 5 that will work out just fine for me as I work downtown and its just a quick little hop across the river to get there. I'm still giddy over this chip mod. Finally my car has power again and it has more torque then my 03 M3 had! Problem is im back to speeding like a fool again!

Anyone going to the Concourse de elegance this weekend??? I'm gonna be back to Cinci on Friday so I might go down for a bit and snap some pics. It's at Ault Park on Sunday. You can buy tickets at the gate I'm pretty sure and I don't think it's too crazy expensive ($25 at the gate) and it's from 10:00am - 4:00pm

As long as your car doesn't leak a considerable amount of fluid, battery is secure, car is COMPLETELY devoid of clutter, you can race. Its hella fun, and you learn alot about your car and yourself as a driver. Check these sites

Milford resident here. Been here since '89 and I want out! (oh well...)

After reading a few of the posts in here - yea, there are a lot of Audis in the area - and spotting the enthusiast may be a bit tricky at times. Unfortunately, with the two beasties I have, I'm pretty easy to spot. Not too many gray R8's or blue RS6's floating around the east side - especially Milford! (it's too close to Goshen! ha!)

If you're one of the enthusiasts on this site, pull up along side me and show me I'm number one while grinning and I'll understand. (:

hey guys how r ya. i'm a cincy resident too. i don't have an audi yet but i'm looking at getting one soon. i'm an mechanical at UC applied science (OCAS).

i got interested in audis when i saw the yellow lowered badazz s4 (he's in my classes). i asked him a lil about his ride and it peaked my interest.

so now i'm looking for an a6 with the 2.7T (i've got a family so i can't do something s4 size).anyone know any good places to be looking for it?

There were a couple things that stood out and really made the night entertaining:

The small incident w/the cop was quite entertaining. Let's just say the Law's not happy when you drive your All Road around in a large field. (I still think we should have just parked on the other side of the gate) I was NOT driving, btw...

The guy in the red what ever the car is that kept going by the gathering and impressing (yawn) us with his tire spinning ability. If he ever figures out how to hook up the front end, the car will be quite quick. Needs to put that wing on the front end and get downforce there instead of the rear end....

The way you guys acted about driving the 8. Man, just get in it and drive it! (MYD WGN looses points for the missed shift, but we all thank him for the laugh!)
