Default Headlight nightmares

Hello!
Just got a meesage telling me my left dipped headlamp is off in my '02 A4... went to takle the removal of the old bulb but failed miserabley. How on earth do I get in to the headlamp enclosure to change the bulb? Can anyone tell me what I need to remove and in what order?
Cheers,

pop the hood, remove access panel on back of headlight housing. Should be a clip that pops off. Once you remove that you should see the bulb clamped down with a metal holder. Fromn there it should be obvious.

Thanks Jestnomen...
I can get into the main beam bulb housing ok but because the dip light housing is obscured by a bottle shaped object (amongst other things) I can't get my hand anywhere close. I just presumed I'd need to take off a few things around the clip off panel in oreder to gain access? I'll have another look at it. Cheers!

are you talking about the intake hose? that just pulls out by compressing it, and pulling it out.

No, It's the opposite side of the car. A bottle shaped object with two pipes going into it?

Ok do you have a digital camera? Please try to explain it a little more to me.

Oh wait, with the newer A4's you have to remove the entire headlight housing to get to the low beams (dip light). This will require a torx screw driver to remove the headlight. Sorry with the B5 Audi' a4's there is no need to remove the entire headlight.

This is all based on someone elses post, so I can't confirm the validity of this.
