i put codes in but they are the wrong codes, its stuck in safe mode now, how long to i have to wait to re-enter the code?

also, if i wanted to pull the stock radio out how would i do so for cheap(if i need to buy the tool) it has the four holes at each corner of the face plate.

heres an easyer way. go to the dealer and have them give you the right code.

 

Whats safe mode? Never heard any mentioning of this

 

its a mode to protect your radio from being stolen. it basically does not function unless you have the codes to reset the safe mode.

If you enter the wrong code 3 times you have wait at least 1 hour before reattempting iirc. That should be enough time to run to the dealer for the radio removal keys.

 

You haven't ever seen it talked about around here? It's every day that someone doesn't use the search button...

 

actually the car has to be in the on position but not running

if you have the car running it doesn't affect it, trust me iknow i bought my car with a book, but wrong code
