just bought a 1989 80 sport
BUT
i have a problem with my lights : (
on standard beam the light are very dim, but on dipped beam they are ok, also when i brake my rear lights go out
can anybody help me ??

Found forum whilst looking for help with a little white smoke car has started to make when stopping at junctions etc.

from herts, west london way, jus bought 2.6 a4 and lovin it!!!

If the lights are dim and the lights go out when you brake it sounds like a bad earth, jus find the earthing points for the lights and rub the contacts with a bit of emery cloth, should sort it out!!

I know, it's quite an old one. but it is in good nick and very clean.
