Default problem with brakes.

Hey everyone.

As you can see im new to this forum.
I own a 2006 S4, and ever since i got in April of 2006 my brakes have squewked. Like really bad.
Even i tap them very slightly, and turn (even when i dont turn) they let it out this screech.
I took it to the dealer, and they said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Im taking it back soon, because this problem keeps persisting.
Has this happened to anyone here? What can i do about this?

Thanks in advance.

You can bevel the leading edges of the brake pads & put on some "brake pad anti squeal".
The other thing I would try is lightly sanding down the brake disk, & brake pad, & rebedding in the pads.

I don't think the dealer will be much help, you might have to DIY, or take it to an independent shop.

True, but most dealers will not warranty brakes, & since there is no "fault" with them, I doubt they will be much help.
I'm sure the Dealers response will be to replace the pads & maybe the rotors, @ your cost.

Not sure how Dealers are in the Uk, but over here warranty work is not all that easy to get done, for wear items, &
consumables.

Well, the closest dealer is..about 30 min away.
However, when my dad tried to buy the car from them, they sucked ***.
Everyone one there was oblivious, and not that great of a help.
So we go to this dealer, thats about 45 min away. Not too bad.
However, they are so ******* cheap. They make you pay for a rental car.
How shitty is that?

ha, im not even 17 yet :P.
I got this car for my 16th birthday.
I told my dad i really wanted it
and after 5 months of trying to find one, he got one coming off of a boat from Germany, so he knabbed it.

Yeah i was suprised at the rental fee they make you pay.
We own a MB s 500 too, and the dealer (in RI mind you) will dirve toy uor house, pick it up, and leave the car they drove to yuor house, for you to use, and they dont ask for any money at all.

hahahaah. Yeah dude.
Trust me, i have been very careful with my baby.
If anythin happens to it, my dad will have my *****.
But, some idiot must have scrathced against the side, becuase theres a lil 1 inch scratch on the side of the left passenger door. Ive tried some Scratch X stuff, but i think im going to take it to my dads friends deatiling shop, and see if they can get it out.
This car is a load of fun, my friend owns an 2006 RX8, and my other friend owns a 2006 G35x, so we always tool around here. Its alot of fun.
However, because my dad bought the car, its an automatic. I wanted stick, but my mother would be teaching me to drive since my dad works alot, and she burnt out clutches on his porsches, so he thought that saving the trouble of burning out the clutch alot, that he would just buy an auto.
