found someone parting out their car, cause they demolished the front end, and was wondering if most parts would interchange from a 2001 a4 to a 1998 a4. mostly want to know if the turbo can be swapped.

 

2001 had what is called a K03S(S for sport) turbo - and 1998 is a K03 - you would need different ECU programing and I don't know if anyone even offers it. Otherwise - some stuff will work - others won't good luck
b5 is from 96-01
b6 is from 02-05.5

the turbo could work but with other minor changes..

and a 2001 is still a b5.
