I plan on switching my Audi over to synthetic motor oil this weekend. I read on another site that it is best to start with a synthetic blend first and run that for about a month to clean the engine and then switch over to full synthetic. If this is true would it be ok to use Mobil Clean High Mileage and a Fram oil filter? Or do you guys recommend something else.

 

I have heard that it really doesn't matter. Just buy a fullly synthetic and switch it. I woun't use a fram filter though. I would stick with the new large filters that Audi recommends.

 

Do you know of a good place to order these filters from? I live about 90 miles from an Audi Dealer (They probably charge way to much anyway). And I should use Mobile 1 extended performance 0W-40 right?

Mobil1 0w40 will be fine.

 

I believe the larger filter fits some Jetta TDIs.

 

Is it ok to use Justice Brothers Engine Tune-Up with Mobile 1 oil?

 

u can go to impex.com i pretty sure they have them. I used M1 0W 40 and it works great.
