Hi all...I'll start out by saying, yes, I am a newbie here, but also feeling a little guilty that I am here. That's because I've owned a BMW M3 and raced BMW's in SCCA for a time, yet here I am joining an Audi forum and thinking about purchasing an Audi as my next car. If I do purchase an Audi, it will be either an S4, and RS4 or an S5. I'll decide when the time comes, which is 1.5 years away. Should I make that leap? I'm only thinking about it because of how nice Audi's appear to be on their interiors, their great reputation for build quality and or course the all-wheel drive, as I live in the northeast states. If not an Audi, it would be an '08 M3. So....as I lurk and occasionally post in this forum to research, I will be curious as to your UNBIASED (is that really possible in an Audi forum?) opinions! Thanks, and I look forward to participating in this forum.

 

Welcome, I too contemplated the idea of buying an M3 before my Audi came along but when it comes down to it that Audi seemed more practical, at least for me. It is AWD which works very well all year round even in the heavy snow and it also looks good.

 

go with the audi. im pretty new too but from what i have heard and seen from friends, audis are pretty nice in all aspects. good looks good handling< sorry i know its superb handling> and they are just insane themselfs. i come from having a lifted truck< as seen in my signature> to an audi. trust me. stick with audi
