Default Front Brake Service

I'm going to change out my front brake pads and rotors on my 2000 A6. Do I need to compress and turn the caliper piston when changing the pads? Is there an easy way to compress it with out getting a special tool?

Default RE: Front Brake Service

No, only in the rear for the e-brake. The fronts are just normal calipers, easy 1hr job.
