180ttq downpipe is done.
i think you guys will be happy when you get your pipes. i just saw them and they fit nice. mine is a 3" with cat and it fits perfectly. it doesnt touch anything and the craftsmansip is fantastic. i'm so happy i chose them to make the pipe. he'll post some pics up and i'll link them on here.
too late now. 3 of them got made. 2 other people got them one 2.5" and one 3" with no cats. i'msure other people will make more in the future, but none from me for now. if a group of people of maybe 10 or so do decide they want them, then i might go back in as i wanted to add one more piece to the exhaust. the bypass by ATP. at that point i would be willing to let them have the car for another day or 2. as i have other modes of transportation. lets get some pics up first and go from there.
What does the "butt dyno" register from the new downpipe? I was one who wanted one originally but issue's arose. I will be down for the next batch if we get 10 or so, I'll even front my money
for me it feels the same since i already had a 2.5" straight through. now i have a 3" with a cat so its probably similar flow or slightly more, but going from stock to the 2.5" felt great. i got mine because the one i made was rubbing. I was going to fix it but i no longer have the time so i had them make it, plus i cant weld all that great so it looked like ****. I would say that getting a DP with a cat is worthwile. my check engine light went away and so did the bad smells that you get when you dont have a cat. also the power increase over stock is noticable. it may not be huge amounts but it also improved the qway the car reacted. especially on the top end.
Hey guys, I just registered to post some pics of the downpipes:
This was PrecisionTT's original vs. the new 3" with cat

Here's a picture of the TIG welds on the K03 flange

And here's the pictures of the other two pipes that were ordered: One 3" straight and one 2.5" straight. This picture didn't have the 02 bungs when I took it. One is welded in before the flex and I packaged a second one for you so that you or your muffler shop can weld it when they match the end of the piping to your particular exhaust setup. Everything is scheduled to ship today, no later than tomorrow. Thanks guys!

Hey Blacktrax. This is Steve -doofysullivan@msn.com. my girlfriend called me to tell me that you had contacted her about the payment. The money for shipping was paypal'd 2 days ago. Let me know if there was a problem and you didn't recieve it. Thanks again. Downpipes look great by the way

isnt it. the funny thing was that i had to tack weld the old piece together since i couldnt get to a good welder, and i needed my car asap. Those welds held up fine, but the flange and the flex pipe thati tookfrom the ebay pipe cracked and came all the way appart. the weld must have been really weak,
Jei gave me a link to the photo album, but you have to register with that site in order to view it. he also had my pipe with the cat on it. mounted on the car. meybe he'll post it on here.
