RS4 3500 miles, I'm still getting an indication on the little video screen in the dash that says Max 7000 RPM. The book says it's supposed to have lifted that limit by now. Is this something the dealership might have set? Or perhaps this is normal?

 

That should turn off when the car warms up to operating temperature. It only comes on when you first start the car and it is still cold. If not you may need to have it checked.
