Hi i got a little problem whit my A6 , it starts fine and the engine run fine. But when i start driving the engine goes fine for a while an then sudently stop !!! then i hawe to wait 2-3minutes and then it starts again ?? anybody experiece the same problem or got a answear for what could be wrong ??

 

hmmm, had this issue with my VW. ECU was fried. Check for any obvious loose wiring but definitely keep the ecu in mind.

 

I have the same model car, same year. My ECU was fried. The part that controlled the fuel pump and other things. I don't know how much it cost to repair. If your car has under 80,000 miles, the ECU is covered under warranty. They told me the ECUs have an 8yr/80,000mile warranty from the Audi. Good luck.
