New to forum, but not to Audi
Hello. Im new to the forum, but not to Audi. I just purchased my second Audi (93' 100S), and my first was a 92' 100CS. Made a mistake of trading it in for a american car, not to say anything bad about american vehicals, but I regreted it. I decided to get rid of my Chrysler, and get another Audi, and wanted what I had another 100. I am very relieved and glad that I did, knowing that I would never be left in BFE with my Audi. I am a novice with mechanics, and plan to do everything I can myself. Ran into that problem with an unknown problem with my old 100CS and broke the bank to fix... ironically it was only an oxygen sensor, which I could have done myself for almost nothing, but the Audi dealer charged an ridiculous amount of money for nothing. SO Im not going to do the same thing, I can do just about everything myself, its not rocket science, plus I have friends that know what they are doing (professionals), so I think Im good. I want to know what your thoughts are about aftermarket parts, basically Im being cheep, but I place no price on works of art, which I consider my Audi, but sometimes you have to save on what you can... right? Well, Im happy to own an Audi, and will never go back to anything else. Im Audi for Life.
