Anybody read the september issue of European car? 415HP with 368lb-ft of torque. 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. Pretty freakin awesome!

Here's a crappy scan of it. It has the R8 body kit on it. The only thing is its faster than its bigger bro!

I like that kit, wouldnt mind doing that on mine. I am wondering who is going to be the first to put the 2.0T in a MK1?

well, according to the article, its faster than its big brow, up until it runs out of gears.

Yeah with a top speed of only 175. But the article said that in a race, that would be the only time the R8 would be able to catch up but would be a ways behind it already.

doubtful, only person that might would be a company with a salvagedmkI and using it to promote something and not ever really run it, if they even get it to run.
