My temp. reading on the dash for the outside temp goes crazy sometimes. It starts dropping like crazy and goes down to -60. When it gets down past +35 or so the AC stops blowing cold air. I figure I need a new thermometer, the one in front of the radiator.

Does anybody know what the part number is for this and/or where I can get on at the best price.

or let me know if you think it is something other than the thermometer.

If you guys want help with stuff like this you have to post year/engine information.

 

When I bought my car, it was missing. I got one from www.shokan.com - They have great prices on used Audi parts. Not much money either... I think it was about $20.00
