I am thinking about getting a Borla Exhaust for my '02 A4. I was wondering if anyone had some sound clips of what they sound like. I asked around in the "west" forum, but I have yet to find someone in Western Washington with an example I could check out. Ultimately I am looking for something that is nice, but isn't too loud and in your face. Thanks in advance.

None of the "good" exhausts are too loud. They all have their distinctive notes, though. They generally open up the "throat" of the exhaust so that a deeper growl is enhanced.

 

No sound clip, but I have a borla exhaust on my 97 1.8t. I remember last fall someone was driving my car, and I was in another car behind them. All I could hear was the turbo through the exhaust, sounds nice... kind of like a jet engine.

 

I have a borla exhaust on my 03'. It's sounds nice. They sound just perfect! I can probably make a clip by wed. night if nobody post one.

Didn't really like that exhaust note (AWE), still a little to obtrusive and ricey. Anyone know what the APR sounds like, I want a high flow cat-back with the closest sound to stock, I'm 32 not 22.
