hello, everyone im going to be getting an s4 within a month or two and was wondering what kind of turbo can get me 500+ hp to the wheels on pump gas and 600+hp on race fuel? and what kind of injectors would i need. thanks

 

For one they have two turbos not one. And do a search there is plenty of info to answer your questions.

 

my fault for not adding an s to the turbos i forgot to type 's' after turbo. i know s4's have twin turbos i just want to know know what kind of twin turbo set ups can give me 500 hp to the wheels on pump and 600 to the wheels on race. ive seen tht gt28rs' but wanted to know if theres any other twin turbo set up that can get me where i want to be.

 

gt25 kit, have they even started retailing them yet?

 

i believe autospeed is about to start selling the gt28rs kit im not to sure about the gt25 which one of these twin turbo set ups has the most lag?

 

gt25/28 are certainly not main stream for the 2.7 biturbo... most do the t04...

Its so true. In another thread someone said they canceled the eliminator twins kits for the 2.7 (figures). If your looking for 500 HP on pump gas you need the a GT turbo. GT28's are larger than GT25's so i would assume they probably dont spool up quite as quickly.

There arent really any mainstream kits for horsepower like that your best bet is a custom job.

Fueling will be custom as well, as you are out of the RS4 limits i believe.

Im assuming you know you should be doing downpipes, intercoolers, exhaust etc etc as well if you havent. With 500-600 hp brakes are important too, your also pushing your transmission...

K04's are alot easier in my opinion. 400 AWHP and 400 TQ is nothing to complain about ....in a good k04 s4 you wont find many cars on the road faster than you

 

Guys where have you been?

515whp on pump gas. I was there the day they did the dyno. It was at a place called wheel to wheel. This is the same shop that the show " Payback" uses for there show. It is a high end shop. I was picking up a friends car the same day ( wink wink conviently picking up the car the same day) the VAST guys were cool and let me watch a pull.

Here is a vid of them at the track. I don't know all the details of the car but I know they only run 23lbs of boost and other than the heads and the turbo kit. I think the rest of the car is stock.

The kit comes from vast performance? Theres small shops near me doing gt28's, but the "kits" just arent really mainstream, its more of a customer by customer basis no?

And that video shows that car at 11.5, dosnt jaysons k04 s4 run 11.51.... not a very big difference.

At 515WHP i would assume the car is not so stock. I know the WMS beast car is heavily upgraded. Even when it was at 600HP.

I wonder what pricing starts at, if i was going big turbo id probably just ship my car to vast....haha
