2008 A3Q Tires
It took 3 months to get here but finally! Attached is a quick first photo. Been reading so much about the P6 tires (crap) and was surprised to see this came with Contiprocontact 225/45R 17 94H. This made by Continental Tire in Canada. Any one have any info on how good these are? I know they are just an all season but are they better then the P6's?

I haven't had any problems with my Conti's in the 13 months / 21k miles I have had them. They got me to and from Winter Park, CO last winter (from Oklahoma City). The only time I had to have my buddy get out and push was because I had to stop on a hill. I think we ended up getting about 2.5 feet of snow that week.
Last week, we had a pretty bad ice storm here in OKC and the Conti's seemed to do fine then too. Be happy that you got the Conti's rather than the P-sux. Drive the **** out of them, then get the tires you really want.
Congrat's on the new car and welcome to the family! It looks good.

Thanks, thats great to know. After hearing about the P6's I was quite happy not to see them when I picked up the car. That was my one worry that I would have to upgrade tires right away because as you can maybe see from the one photo I posted snow and ice can be an issue at times where I live.

continental tires kick ***
only had to replace mine when i got a nail in it and the funny thing is with a nail in it (me not knowing) it lasted 3 days before it blew haha
only thing is, when you get a flat and need to replace a tire it can be a total pain to find, I only know of 1 place in my area that carried the continental tires for my A3.

3.2 was only available with the 18" wheels and summer tires...getting the 17" instead and not Pirellis (exactly the same wheels as yours) was what I required of the dealership before I plopped down my $$$. The 5-spoke looks really good, doesn't it?
Thats funny. Believe it or not but when I ordered mine I wanted the 16 spoke wheels and the dealership was going to swap. I changed my mind and stuck with the 5 spoke and glad I did because I think they look great and will be easier to clean.
