Who would win in a race off the line...

A high end Tiburon or a stock TT 1.8?

Just wondering...there seems to be a lot of hyundais running around here...and all the drivers think they can smoke everyone.

 

I vote the TT. Sadly, i have owned both... the Tiburon's motor is a inefficient piece of ****. The warranty they offer is outstanding though. could not complain about that.

Yeah...i noticed the tiburon was a little heavier...and the torque was higher too.

 

that thing is a slug. It is extremly slow for having a V6 engine. The car is nice looking and has a nice interior, but w/o a worth powertrain, its just another celica

 

Whats wrong with celica's, I owneda gt-sand loved it. Until I rolled it.

But I really hate tiburons, Ifthey think hundyia = performance they've got a problem.

 

Its a hundyia may I say more? They make a great eco-car. - Nothing more.

The TT would win. - Hands down. - Slightly mod a TT and it kills them. - I've raced a few, none have ever even heald there own against the TT.

Watch out, you know we have more ex-celica owners on the board than actual TT owners.

 

If by chance the Tiburon happened to beat you, the problem is after the race you still own a Tiburon.

 

I know, but both look nice but are too slow for how sporty they made them.
