oh yeah...forgot to intorduce myself. name is Tracy - have been driving (and pushing) german cars since i got my license - about 16 years ago. My first was a 74 Audi fox, then a 74 VW dasher. only one ran at any given time. same platform so parts were interchangable. then had a 77 VW fox for a short while. ( yes i had the Fox under both badges....i loved them. Great to set up for rally. Looking at $800 on another VW fox. I totaled an 88 golf 2 days after engine transplant (16 valve) - parts were reincarnated into 3 other golfs in the neighborhood. am enjoying an 88 AUDI 80 right now. thanks for letting me ramble.....</P>
