Hi guys,

I am in the process of leasing a new car and I was looking for a vehicle with good residual value.
Of course Audi came up and I was looking at the A4 or A3.

I test drove both and I have to say that I really liked the A4 also because of the roomier interior and sharper look.
I drove a manual A4 not QUATTRO with premium package and sport suspension.
I like the car and the price is $ 30,800.

Now I have two question: I got quoted 459 montly with 15k for 36 months and $3,000 down. Does it sound a lot based on your experience with Audi? Do you think I should get a QUATTRO? I live in Las Vegas and I was wondering if that system was really necessary.Well thanks for your help,

FF

Quattro is a must if you buy an Audi. It will improve handling so much even on dry road.

Everyone who has Quattro is going to reccomend it, which is basically all of the B7's here.

This isn't a bash on Audi but the BMW 3-series has a much higher residual value right now, and comparable lease rates (money factor). If you're looking for a lot of car at a low price.

I would recommend Quattro as it boosts resale and provides better handling in all weather conditions.

This is a for instance. I leased my 2007 A4 2.0T with everything except Navigation back in August at .00165 money factor (3.9% APR) and a 56% residual with a window sticker of $37,225. I put nothing down, 10k miles a year for 36 months and pay $600/mo after taxes... so $550/mo before taxes. You judge your deal. I don't think it is a great one but every market is different.

I agree that Quattro will increase the residual value. Maybe not a factor in Vegas, but a must here in the North East. I put $1000 down on my A4 and my monthly payment is $490/month including taxes. I also did 3 years, 15K miles per year.

The deal yougot quoted sounds a little high to me IMO. If that was Quattro its a different story. Beat them up for a better deal. Get Quattro

I am getting owned for lease prices on new A3's. Basically I was quoted 687/mon on a new A3 3.2 S v 620/mon for a new 335xi with $2500 down on both cars!!!! Thats a 43,700 car v a 37,000 car! dealers are on crack and are telling me there is no formal lease program set up on the A3. PWNED [&:]

Just leased a A4 Quattro 6spd manual. Las Vegas dealers are way expensive. I pay $379 per month plus tax and only put down $1000 through Audi Financial. 36/10k program. MF .00040 is the buy rate this month. Check out www.specialtyoneautoleasing.com (http://www.specialtyoneautoleasing.com) for the best deals on Audi leases.

Well, I got my 2006 A4 Quattro pre-owned certified from a dealer in Palo Alto. It had 22,360 miles on it when I bought it. It has the premium package and the only thing it doesn't have that I wanted are the HID headlights. I am paying $317/month at 0.9% through Audi financing. I was lucky and able to put $5000 down, plus I bought the car for $21,000. Original asking price was $27,750. Okay, how did I do that. Ebay and the car was on the lot for more than 90 days and it went to Ebay. Yeah, I got lucky. Shop around and be patient.

I don't know if you want to hang on to the car, but with what I am seeing people pay for leases, you can own the sucker and sell it then and have something in the end for your money. Seriously look at the pre-owned certified Audis. My B7 looks new. Now if my F*(& plates will come.
