Default 1992 audi 100 won't start. HELP

My son was driving the car when the main v-belt shred into hundreds of pieces. Towed the car to shop, put on new belt and now the car won't start. I tested for a spark at the plugs but have no spark. There is no distrubuter in this model. Why wouldn't I get a spark.

Well, first.... This was not a tbelt right?
Anyhow, I had this same issue. I probed around everything with a DVOM, stumped the hell out of me. Turned out, it was a bad ignition black box. Does the car even crank?
If not, you want to look at the little lock tumbler, pull it apart, and jump the pins 2 at a time with a paper clip until you find the starter pins, and jump them with a wire to start it.
