Default 1.8t guys with 034 track density mounts

how's the vibration? i hear the snub mount is the cause of most of the vibration?

i'm looking to have 034 replace all my mounts, with track density and their snub mount. I don't mind a little vibration, just don't want anything where i hear passangers complaining.

share your wisdom with me oh wise b5 community.

If its a DD, you really should use the street kit. They are plenty stiff and cause less vibration.

I'm installing the Street Density line on my car this weekend. I will let you know how it feels. From what I understand about the track density line... you will feel and hear more within the car.

the snub actually is way to small for the factory bracket but i moved my factory bracket so it stouching the top of the snub and for 6 months now its been really nice in shifting. i have track density mounts on my car, vibrations really arent that bad, sure you feel a little at stops but you have the satisfaction of knowing the drivetrain is locked down, the street density aparently are like OEM only stiffer.

SAudi, I thought their snub was to used with their bracket?

Thanks for the input guys. I think I've made my decision, if anyone else with the set up wants to throw in their 2 cents, feel free.

Bolob, I'm looking forward to what you think. Keep me updated.

yeah, I've decided on the streets. a dd with not many track days, so i'll stick with a little more comfort over perfomance in this case.

its supposed ot be but when i bought it i assumed it was the same as the APR unit, after putting it in i noiticed it wasent any better then my shot stock unit so after a little bit of experimenting i got it to the point where it made a huge difference and was similar to the cars ive driven with teh APR unit

I'd go with street density motor mounts and track density tranny mounts myself. BTW Apikol is coming out with a very reasonably priced urethane B5 snub mount at $27 very soon.

Got mounts on sale, for example the density motor mounts, $73.95 plus take 10% off with coupon code speedlife2, good until April 25th,and you are looking at $66.55 each mount, so save $22 on the pair over retail.

1.8t drivers side tranny

Passengers 1.8t or both sides V6 tranny

Good luck
