I am experiencing dim dash lights in my 96 a6 q wagon. They all seem to be working but are quite dim. The comtrols for the ac, heat, etc are all bright. Any suggestions?

did you turn the dimmer to make them more bright?

I do not have an owners manual so I don't know where everything is.

Where is the dimmer located? 1996 A6 Q wagon.

well on my 97 A4 there was a little black stalk on the left hand side of the instrument cluster. It just rotates.

Is it the same stalk that u use to set the clock?
