Ok, so today I bought my very first audi. Its a 1998 a4 1.8t quattro. Overall it's in immaculant shape. Theres only one flaw, which I was wondering if anone could help me out and mabe give mean estimate priceon? The trip computer is glitchy. It has missing pixel bars going through the readings. Is there a DIY way to fix that, or if not, how much does something like that usuall cost? Thanks in advance.

 

you have to replace it no questions asked. it's pretty costly and i haven't seen one for sale on any sites. commandeer one from a salvage yard or check the classifieds to see if anybody is parting out their car.

 

nope, you can't fix it. you can replace the whole unit, but am unsure how much it is. I've heard its not cheap though.
