*having trouble with my 07 A3 2.0 already* need advice
HI everyone,
I have a 2007 audi A3 2.0, with 7,500 miles. I brought it to the dealer twice now withing 2 weeks, I had the check engine light come on. when I took it there the first time they said I had low fuel pump pressure that is why the light came on. a week after that the check engine light came on again.so the next morningtried warming up my car and all sudden the car shut off andthe battery light came on. I gave it a try later that evening and my car stayed on, brought it to the dealer next morning, saying they change or fix the problem with the low and high fuel pump pressure. and theres nothing wrong with the battery. anyone had this problem before?? the car only have 7500 miles on it and im having trouble with it, is this common? and would that be the problem my car is not staying on because of the fuel pressure issue? Im picking up my car today. please advice. thank you.

It's still under warranty - make sure you let Audi USA know about your problems with your multiple visits. As far as the battery light goes - I'm not completely sure about what you are having problems with. But, with regards to the fuel pressure issue - make sure you don't have any crap in your gas tank. There could be something obstructing the fuel flow.

A couple of us have had this problem. It happened to me about the same time it happened to you. I have an '07 also. I got it with 10 miles on it and now I have 26k miles on it. I haven't had the problem happen again. It was very frustrating to get up for work and not have my car start. My friend's advice of stay away from German cars started burning in my head. Alas, I took it to the dealer with some info from this forum and they fixed it and I have been happy ever since. If you do a search on here you should find the couple of threads about this issue. Good luck with the repair.

thanks for the feedback guys. I did get my car back yesterday. everything is okay so far. on the service report, they stated my battery was fine, they did a check on it , said everything was okay. also said they replace both High and low pump pressure sensor and also reinstalled the fuel pumps.
what did they say about your car converted when you brought your car in? did they do the same thing they did to your car for mines? thank you

It wasn't a battery issue. This is the link to the thread. https://www.audiforums.com/m_706114/tm.htm

Happened to me as well and mine is also a 2007. The fuel sensor issue is a known issue. Mine went at 15,000 miles I believe.
I was really irked by it when it happened. Went to my car on my lunch break, and it started on the first and second try and then it would die.
Had to tow it to the dealer, and they replaced the "fuel sensor".
It's been fine since then.

Here's a direct number to Audi NA the guy's name is Mike Harris and he's like the #3 guy in the area.248.754.3573 call him and let your problem be known. He's not on our side but if enough of us rattle his cage maybe some chang will come of it.
Good Luck and pass it around.
