Hi All,

Just wanted to check if the gearbox off the mk4 R32 would fit the A3 3.2?

The reason being, my layshaft bearings are starting to go, and the r32 box is just sitting in my friends garage so would be ideal if I could put that straight on. It looks like it would fit and I am assuming these cars have all the same running gear but just wanted to check if anyone knows for sure.

yes they will fit, all vr6 transmissions are interchangeable from early 12v vr6 to the current 3.2 vr's.
