i like the current model better.

 

I like the front end... the rear, not so much. Overall, I think I like the current gen better. And then there is this:

Seems to imply that there will be not petrol turbo engine in the A3, only the S3. WTF?

 

I'm not really feeling it. The 3/4 rear view looks a little to Chrysler Crossfire to me.

Wait a second. How credible is this source, anyway? Aren't auto-makers usually super-secretive about their upcoming models? Which one of these two hypotheses is most likely--(1) Someone got full length exterior shots of a 2010 car, three years in advance, but no other website or (2) They're an artist's rendering + photoshop. I mean, the first one even looks rather obviously like they cut out the car's silhouette and pasted it into that mountain backdrop. Another hypothesis is that this is related to the alleged leak of information about an upcoming A1 model, which has very similar artist's-rendering-pictures online.

Anyway, I'm not buying it!

 

yes, looks very crossfire-ish to me as well. And where is the 5-door? That's the main reason I bought this car. Maybe by then a Japanese auto maker will have a competing car...and don't tell me Mazda..I'm thinking Infiniti/Lexus/Accura class...

 

The key here is that our cars are described as hatch-backs... how would this work with a convertible??

Are they also saying us Americans will finally be getting the 3-Door??
