OEM Roof Rails + Thule Aero Rack

OEM Roof Rails + Thule Aero Rack
I didn't find much in the forums about the chrome roof rail retrofit, or roof racks, so I thought I'd post my progress. I bought the OEM retrofit and had a local shop install it. All told, it was $970 for the rails and $550 for installation. The shop mis-quoted the job, so I got a steal. Full installation price would have been $850, which would have been a deal breaker.
For the rack, I got the 4014 foot kit, 460R towers, 4 pack of locks, and aero blade bars. I went with Rack Attack, because they price match online, and I found some great deals at racksforall.com. Full kit was $415. The setup is beautiful, and took about 40 minutes to install. It could be a 15-minute job now that I know what I'm doing.
I also got 2 hull-a-port pro cradles for kayaks, but at first glance, even the longest bolts appear to be too short for the aeros. I'll look into this more tomorrow, unless someone has a quick word of advice. I'm also curious what you guys are using for bike carriers, because I'm in the market.

No problems so far, but the guy who did it had apparently done a couple before.
