10 airbag codes!?!
Ok, just got done scanning my car because the airbag light was on, and came up with ten codes:
01219 Rear airbag igniter (Dr Side)
01220
01213
00656 Seat occupied sensor (P Side)
01215
01216
00591 Seat belt switch (Left)
00592
01228
01578 Airbag Deactivation warning lamp (P side)
So i cleared the codes, and all but the last one came back on within about one second. What do you guys/girls think about that? Alot of these are resistance and open circut "intermittent" codes, why would they come back so soon? Should i look at replacing the airbag ECU, or trying to track down every single code there? Can anybody shine some light on the ones that aren't described (i'm using shareware version of VAGCOM). Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is the last dash light i need to get rid of!

RE: 10 airbag codes!?!
has the car ever been wrecked? more that anything you have a bad control mod. I've seen that alot. also ck' for corrosion at the connector for the control mod. if corroded replace mod. and clean the connector. if your car is newer than 00' you need to have the mod. matched with the imob. and the dealer i think is the only one able to get the key codes for the imob. I worked for audi and vw back in 2001-2003.
