100,000 mile service recommendations?
Hey, I thought I would ask the experts out here what maintainence I should have done now that I'm at the 100k mark. Listed below are some things I'm thinking about getting done (not at the dealer). Also, I am posting this question because my car is now making sounds that sound like a remote control car electric motor that doesn't have enough power. It does that when I step on the gas, and when I stear. Anyway, I figure routine maintainence might be the key.
Service Never Performed:
Brake Lines Flushed
Powerstearing fluid flushed
Coolant Flushed
Fuel Pump
Oil Pump
Powerstearing pump
Service Performed:
Transmission fluid change around 50k
Timing Belt (and water pump) around 70k
Thanks.

RE: 100,000 mile service recommendations?
This is a cool site. Just go to the forum option at top of page, click on model discussions, click on your car, and then from the page that opens there will be options: FAQ and Forum.
If you click on the FAQ part, a page will open up that will tell you mostly anything you need to know about your car. Including DIY.

But for maintanance sheduling, you should look at your owner's manual.

If not done already, all hoses, belts, fluids that haven't been done such as brakes/ps/coolant/thermostat if not done with waterpump/timing belt. Some morons say if the belt ain't frayed and the hose ain't leakin its good, they're beyond retarded...
