Default 96 Audi A4 Quattro won't start...help

Last night when i was driving home my car was running fine I pulled up in my driveway shut her off and went in. This morning I went to start it and it wouldn't start. Fuel pump works battery is fine just won't fire. I took it to a garage and they said I had no spark and no injector pulse. They said it was because of either the cam crank or vehicle speed sensor. I work at Napa and these parts are at least a week out for one of them. Is it possible that it could be the ignition control module that would cause a sensor not to work right. As of now they have no idea and I would like to avoid having to buy all three sensors and not being able to return them. I heard the the modules for a 96 audi is a common part to fail is this true??? Help please

The ignition control module would not make another sensor not operate. Bring the car to a shop that can diagnose instead of guessing & throwing parts at it.
As far as buying parts at Napa for a Euro car Don't. Napa prices are way out of line on the European vehicles & the manufactures are unknown. You would be better off with Amazon or a parts supplier that specializes in euro cars.

Napa having a valve cover gasket on the shelf for a Audi , that's a new one.

I know you work for them & your loyalty should be with you job. As a professional in the European vehicle repair business it pains me to have to make purchases from them. Most oil filters for example are about twice as much my cost (and i am a wholesale customer) as my European parts supplier. It pains me to pay that much because the price of the filters usually end up more than dealer list unless i want to throw a pro select filter on which i won't do!
