Default A4B5 Tranny slip-while-turning problem 1.8t

Hi my 1.8turbo 2000 A4 is great and I love the car. 1 problem that I know can be fixed. My tranny jumps and slips. When I drive if I brake it takes a minute for the tranny to "catch up" and if I am not holding the brake down than the car will jump. ALSO, when I turn after the turn is completed it takes a second to get into the right gear. It slips. More so when I make a left turn. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks for any help.

Sure sounds like a low trans fluid problem. I do not know if the 2000s had a dispstick to check the fluid level. My 2008 is a sealed system that you can't check.
