I'm thinking about buying an out-of-warranty 2012 Audi A4. I currently pay $900/yr for maintenance + repairs on my Honda Accord. How much should one expect to pay on average for an out-of-warranty '12 Audi A4 over the course of three years? $2k/yr? $3k/yr? $5/yr?

 

Really tough to say. Some on here spend $2k+ a year on their cars. I guess I have been lucky in that I spend less than $500 (including oil changes) a year. Depending on the miles the timing belt will need to be changed at some point and that runs about $1k.
