Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Engine Stall Problem
Got my 98 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro 2 months ago, and slowly found out some problems with this old but still performing guy. The most annoying problem is the engine may just stall when i break at the junction, although it didn't happen frequently. Before that, the car will just shake for a short while. I just changed spark plugs, fuel filter and etc recently. Could it be caused by a dirty throttle body or the mass airflow sensor, or both? My technician told me that i got to change the throttle body, however, it is just so expensive. Can i just simply do some cleaning of it?
Thanks for any helpful suggestions!

yeah cleaning the TB is easy.. a quick search would have done it.. but all you really need to know is take off the hose, get some TB cleaner spray at autozone and spray the hell out of the inside. push your finger in there and open up it up and get the whole thing.
if that doesn't get it good enough you can buy a $2 TB gasket and just take off and clean the TB.
make sure you do a TB adaptaion afterwards.. on my car you just turn the car to on (don't start it) and wait 3 min without hitting gas.
