Default audi emblem

Hi I have a 99 A4 2.8 quattro and I was wondering on my steering wheel , why there is no emblem. I mean my friend has the same car but his does, and his steering wheel is also shaped differntly.

Also I was wondering if there is something wrong when I drive over a speed bump or something or a rugged road, my rear wheels make this squeaking noice when they go up and down. Thanks!

oh like is the sports wheel gettable from my audi dealer? like does it have to do with any feature of the car? also i have noticed that the back of my car looks a little raised , slightly? could that be the squeak cause?

How many spokes does your wheel have compared to his? I have the sport wheel, which has three spokes and has the audi logo in the middle. I would not suggest getting the sport wheel from the dealer, as you will have to spend tons of money! The air bag and the wheel will probably cost you in excess of a grand. Take a look on www.carparts.com for a used steering wheel, it'll be much cheaper.

As for the squeek, it could be a bad control arm bushing.

I have a 2001 A4 1.8T and have a logo on my steering wheel but I am not sure if I have the sport model. Can someone tell me how I would find out if it was a standard or sport model?

Nothing other than the amount of spokes.

4 spokes looks like it belongs on grandmas car, 3 spokes is "sporty". I prefer the look and feel of the sport wheel. I think it might be a little bit thicker also.

I'd love to go count the spokes on my wheel but unfortunately it's still in the repair shop in another state. Hooray!
