Default i got a b5 and a question

MY B5 was totaled about 3 weeks ago so i bought a 2003 Audi a4 1.8t in amulet red. The downside is that it is a tiptronic.

I have a question about the Tiptronic. When the car is very cold (in the morning) it dose a wierd thing when shifting from 3rd to 4th and 2nd to 3rd. The transmission will shift aroung 4000 rpm then the rpms drop around 500rpms and hesitate for a split second (It feels like it shifts again) and then fall normally. Is this normal? after around 5-10 mins of driving this goes away[/align]__________________

The tiptronic transmission shifts @ 4k. when cold in an effort to warm up the motor faster. As far as the stumble or studder, I am not sure about that..

Did you warm up the car first before you drive it?

So it shifts at 4k then drops down to 3500, shifts again and rpms falls to around 1500-2500? As long as theres no stuttering it sounds normal.
